Pre-Production on "Lylian True" began in November 2000, but the shoot was delayed until March 2001 when Fox was asked to direct "Transit". Fox earned a grant from the King's Independent Filmmakers Society to produce "Lylian True" with co-producer Steve Yorke.
"Lylian True" was shot just after "Transit" but was finished and screened on August 19, 2001 at Empire Theatres Bedford nearly three weeks before the premiere of "Transit" at the Oxford Theatre on September 7, 2001. Both "Transit" and "Lylian True" screened at the International Teen Movie Festival in Toronto in October 2001.
